Christian Maillard

Christian Maillard est né en 1944. Ses voyages dans divers pays d'Europe ainsi qu'aux États-Unis, en Afrique, en Amérique du Sud et en Extrême-Orient ont influencé son approche de la photographie. Directes et sans fioritures, ses photos argentiques en noir et blanc rendent la réalité telle qu'elle est. Le présent ouvrage, qui rassemble des photos prises dans le monde entier entre 1996 et 2016, est la première monographie consacrée à ce photographe français.

Plain and straightforward, his analogue black-and-white photographs present reality unadorned. This book, which features pictures that were taken all over the world between 1996 and 2016, is the first monograph dedicated to the French photographer.
